Private graveside services for Raymond Russell Jahnel, 86, who died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair March 25, 1995 will be Tuesday, March 28 at the Blair Cemetery.

Raymond Russell Jahnel was born November 16, 1908 in rural Blair to Fritz and Mary Schmidt Jahnel. He attended the Suny Side School. He worked at the Ordinance Plant at Mead, Wilkinson Manufacturing in Fort Calhoun and for Leonard Petersen Landscaping. He also did farm work.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

He is survived by three brothers, Harry of Fremont, Walter of Tekamah and Robert of Blair and one sister, Hazel Christiansen of Kennard.
