Former Blair Man Victim Of Sudden Heart Attack Last Sunday

Ill only a few hours, Harvey A. Paulsen, 34, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Omaha on Sunday afternoon, October 1. Formerly of Blair, Mr. Paulsen was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Paulsen of Blair.

Funeral rites were held at Covenant Presbyterian church in Omaha, Wednesday morning, and at the Blair First Lutheran church in the afternoon. The Rev. H.C. Jorgensen presided over the afternoon service. Interment was in Blair cemetery.

Born July 18, 1910, at Blair, Mr. Paulsen was baptized and confirmed in the local Lutheran church. After moving to Omaha he became a member of the Covenant Presbyterian church. At the time of his death Mr. Paulsen was employed by the Omaha-Council Bluffs Street Railway Company.

His marriage to Mary Burke of Alma, Nebr., was an event of May 2, 1934.

Surviving are the widow and two sons, Marvin, 9, and Richard, 3 ½; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Paulsen of Blair; a brother, Bernard, and two sisters, Mrs. Harland Nelson and Mrs. Richard Sorensen, also of Blair.

HARVEY PAULSEN BURIAL WEDNESDAY

Harvey Alvin Paulsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Paulsen, passed away Sunday, October 1st, following a heart attack. He was ill but a few hours.

Deceased was reared in this county. In 1934 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Burke of Alma, Nebraska, and to this union two sons were born, Marvin, age nine and Richard, age three and one half years. These, with the widow, his parents, and two sisters, Mrs. Harland Nelson and Mrs. Richard Sorensen, and a brother, Bernard Paulsen, all of Blair, and a number of other relatives, mourn his death.

He moved to Omaha a number of years ago, and was in the employ of the Omaha and Council Bluffs Street Railway Co., which position he held until his death.

Funeral services were held from the Covenant Presbyterian church in Omaha and from the First Lutheran Church in Blair with Rev. H. C. Jorgensen officiating. Interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
