GEORGIANNA REED, 66

Georgianna Reed, 66, of Arlington, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at the Bryan LGH Med Center East in Lincoln.

Services were Saturday, April 1, 2000, at the Arlington Community Church. The Rev. Lynn Martin officiated. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.

Georgianna Reed was born Jan. 11, 1934, to Lawrence and Alice (Doyle) Scannell, in Boston, Mass. She grew up in Massachusetts and graduated from high school there.

On June 27, 1954, she married Wayne Reed in Stoughton, Mass. She moved to Iona, Minn. in 1961, then to Lincoln in 1965. She had been a resident of Arlington since moving there in 1967.

She was a member of the Arlington Community Church and the T.O.P.S. Club.

She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Lori Reed, Doug and Michelle Reed, Lawrence and Tamar Reed and Kenneth and Carrie Reed, all of Arlington; a daughter and son-in-law, Allyson and Korey Perry of Fremont; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Francis and Tom McCormick of Lake Sarah, Minn. and Alice Schroth of Sturbridge, Mass.; and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert E. Reed; and two granddaughters, Jamie Reed and Attalissa Reed.

Memorials are suggested to the Arlington Community Church or the Nebraska Heart Institute of Bryan LGH Med Center East in Lincoln.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of arrangements.
