SERVICES FOR BEN REEH TO BE SATURDAY

Bennard “Ben” Reeh, born august 21, 1909, passed away at Blair Hospital April 14, 1982. Ben graduated from Blair High School and attended Dana College. He is a retired member of the Blair Fire Department, and member of the Nebraska Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.

Ben was a member of Blair Rotary Club and was on the Blair City Council for many years. He was on the Nebraska Aeronautics Commission for seven years.

Ben was one of the first pilots in this area and helped to develop the Blair Airport in 1939 and later the golf course in 1949.

Survivors include his wife, the former Teresa Foley, and three daughters: Dr. Susan Menking, New York City; Mrs. Bob (Jill) Demman, Monroe, Michigan; Mrs. Richard A. (Jackie) Smith, Oxford, Mississippi; brother, Dr. Merrill J. Reeh, Seattle, Washington; sister, Mrs. Bernice Compton, Chula Vista, California; also nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, at St. Francis Borgia Church. Visitation will be at Campbell Funeral home. Rosary at Campbell Funeral Home at 8:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.
