Services For Charles F. Martis Were Held Tuesday

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 14th for Charles Frederick Martis, a resident of Rural Route 2, Blair.

Mr. Martis, an employee of the Wilkinson Manufacturing Co. in Ft. Calhoun, died at the Blair Hospital last Saturday, December 11th. He was 66 years of age, having been born in Omaha March 24, 1905.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie and by a son and a daughter. The son is Charles Martis, Jr. of Blair and the daughter is Mrs. Sam (Madelyn) Smith, also of Blair. There are five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary with the Rev. Sanford Sorgen conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair cemetery. Pallbearers were Warren Johnson, Jacob Ericksen, George Sroks, Henry Lokke, Hilary Lassek and Frank Kucera.
