SERVICES FOR DON R. REIMER WEDNESDAY
Funeral services for Don R. Reimer of Webster City, Iowa, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the First Congregational Church in Webster City. Rev. Ward Malloy and Rev. R.M. Roden will officiate. Burial will be at the Beatrice, Neb. Cemetery.
Reimer was born Dec. 6, 1913 to Henry T. and Justina (Claasen) Reimer in Beatrice. He married Esther Faulder on August 10, 1936 in Beatrice; she survives.
Reimer was a merchant in Rockford and Liberty, Nebraska and started as a salesman for General Mills in 1943. In 1959 he moved his family to Blair and was a salesman for Stormor. In 1968, they moved to Webster City, where Reimer founded and operated the Modern Farm System Company until his retirement in 1976.
He died at the Hamilton County (Iowa) Hospital at the age of 70.
Other survivors include daughter Sandra Lucas of Mission Viegjo, California and son Donald Ray Reimer of Boulder, Colorado; six grandchildren; and brothers Henry T. Reimer of Beatrice and Edgar Reimer of Gillette, Wyoming.
