ESTHER L. REIMER, 88

Esther L. Reimer, 88, of Rancho Mirage, Calif., died Nov. 5, 2006, at Eisenhower Hospital in Rancho Mirage.

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 10, at the First Mennonite Church in Beatrice. Interment was in the First Mennonite Cemetery.

Esther L. Faulder was born May 30, 1918, in Beatrice to Irvin and Emma (Eby) Faulder. She graduated from Beatrice High School.

On Aug. 10, 1936, she married Donald Reimer in Beatrice. The couple lived in Columbus, Central City, Blair, and Webster City, Iowa, and in Rancho Mirage since 1984.

Mrs. Reimer was a member of the PEO, Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church, Desert Island Country Club, and was past president of the Ladies’ Golf Group.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Lucas of Marietta, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Bev Reimer of Broomfield, Colo.; six granddaughters; and eight great-grandchildren.
