MARY ANN REINING, 79, 4/10/1918 - 9/30/1997

Mary Ann Reining, 79, of Blair died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1997 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha after a lingering illness.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Borgia Catholic church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Chapel.

Mary Ann Mich Reining was born April 10, 1918 at Granville, Iowa to Mary and Peter Mich. She graduated from Alton, Iowa, High School. On March 20,, 1936, she married Raymond Reining. She was employed at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair for 20 years.

She was a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church since moving to Blair in 1943.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Leonard and Lyle Truhlsen, Blair; sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard and Faye (Austin) Reining, Midwest City, Okla.; Loren and Phyllis (Anderson) Reining, Kennard; and Jerry Reining, Honolulu, Hawaii; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Flora Hyde, Cherokee, Iowa; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray on Feb. 26, 1956; her parents; four brothers and two sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
