Sharon K. Norton, 71, of Blair, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, after a lengthy battle with leukemia. She passed peacefully at her home with family by her side.

Services will be at 10: 30 a.m. Saturday, at Roeder Mortuary 108th Street Chapel in Omaha. There will be no visitation. Joys of Norton’s life included her family, farm, animals and pets, cooking, baking and gardening.

She is survived by husband Jim; children, Jimmy (Christy Jorgensen), Jennifer Norton and husband Don Henkenius, Jerry (Bridget); 10 grandchildren; brother, Ken (Sharon) Nelson and other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by parents Henry and Mildred and sister, Carole.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Leukemia Society.
