Jessica Blair Ross, 29, of Omaha died Sept. 4, 2013, in Omaha.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Sept. 7, at First Lutheran Church in Blair.

Jessica Blair Ross was born on Feb. 24, 1984, in Omaha to Gerald D. and Barbara (Davis) Ross. She attended Blair schools and graduated from Blair High School in 2002. After high school she attended Methodist College of Nursing. She worked as a CAN. She taught Sunday school at First Lutheran Church in Blair for several years. She enjoyed writing. Her true life passion was always her family especially her children and nephews. She was known to all for being a very caring person, with an infectious smile and laugh.

She is survived by her children, Brooklyn and Peyton Ross of Blair; parents, Gerald and Barbara Ross of Blair; brothers, Jason Ross of Omaha and Scott Ross of Blair; grandmother Geraldine Davis of Blair; uncle Kurt Davis and wife Pam of Blair; aunts, Rheanne Webber and Paula Ross, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa; cousin Geoff; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roland Davis, and grandmother LaVerne Fetter.

Memorial may be directed to the family to set up a fund for Ross’ children.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair was in charge of the arrangements.
