Douglas Shea, 54, of Omaha, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013.

Shea’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, p.m., at Horsemen’s Park, 6303 Q Street.

He is survived by his sons, Joe and Johnny Shea, both of Blair; mother Ann Shea; brother Dan Shea; and sisters, Cynthia Curran (Bob) and Karen Lechner (Mike), all of Omaha; nephews Brian Csipkes (Suzanne), Jay Csipkes (Kerri), Terry Csipkes (Nikki), Ryan Shea, Kelly Shea, Shea Lechner, Jeff Lechner, and Rob Curran (Christina); niece, Amy Butts (Chris); and “greats” Elizabeth, Elliott, Patrick, Quinn and Evie Csipkes, Alex and Matt Butts, and Kendall Curran. He is also survived by many, many great and true friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Shea.

Memorials are suggested to Holy Name School.
