News has reached Arlington that Fred Renard, sr., a large Washington county land owner, died at his home in Oakland, Neb., Sunday afternoon. Death came after an illness of several months and the deceased was 95 years old. Mr. Renard was the father of Fred Renard jr., and Mrs. Joseph Jungbluth, both residing in Arlington township. He was well known in the state where he has had large banking and milling interests for a number of years.
