CURTIS W. RENLI, 68

Funeral services for Curtis W. Renli, 68, of Arlington, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Salem Lutheran Church in Fontanelle. The Revs. Charles W. Bichel and Al Salanitro will officiate. Mr. Renli died Saturday, Sept. 15, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Curtis W. Renli was born April 18, 1933, in Wentworth, S.D., to Clayton and Lydia (Wika) Renli. He grew up in Canton, S.D., and graduated from Canton High School. He was a graduate of South Dakota State University at Brookings.

Mr. Renli served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War for two years, and also served in Germany.

Following his time in the service, he was employed for 34 years as a livestock buyer for Hormel Foods Corp.

On Oct. 10, 1959, he married Sandra Woodward at St. Paul, Minn.

He lived in Austin, Miss.; Fort Dodge, Iowa; Mitchell, S.D.; Fremont and Neligh. He retired and moved to Arlington in 1992. He enjoyed trap shooting and hunting and was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Fontanelle.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; son and fiancé, Thomas Renli and Carrie Bradbury of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter, Ann Renli of Lincoln; and sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Joseph Haugen of Canton, S.D.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
