Abrigail S. Masser

A memorial service was held Tuesday, October 13, for Mrs. Abrigail S. Masser, 93, of Plymouth Place, 4111 Ingersoll Ave., Des Moines, Iowa, who died suddenly at her home on October 12, 1981.

Abrigail S. Masser was born in Marshall County, Iowa, near State Center. She was a school teacher at Blair at one time; taught at Morning Side College in Sioux City, Iowa; and was also principal at Fonda and New London, Iowa. She had lived in Des Moines for 25 years.

She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church; the Golden Chord Chapter #187, Order of the Eastern Star of Fonda, Iowa; and was a 50 year member of Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Des Moines Retired Teachers Association; the National Retired Teachers Association; National Forensic League and the Alumni Association of Iowa State University.

Dunn Funeral Home in Des Moines was in charge of arrangements for the services.
