Eula M. Masters, 86

Services for Eula M. Masters, 86, of Lincoln and formerly of Fremont, will be held Thursday, March 28, 1996, at 11 a.m. at the Arlington Community Church in Arlington. Rev. Lee J. Milligan will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to service time. Burial will be held at the Arlington Cemetery. She died March 25 at her daughter’s home in Lincoln.

Eula M. (Adams) Masters was born Nov. 25, 1909, at Dale, Neb., to W. S. and Edith (Clark) Adams. She grew up at Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School. On March 1, 1930, she married Loren A. Masters at Logan, Iowa. They farmed in the Blair, Neb., area until 1944 when they moved to a farm near Arlington where they farmed and operated a dairy. They then operated a café at Arlington. They moved to Lincoln in 1952. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 1985. She moved to Fremont in 1987 and returned to Lincoln in 1993 to live with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, Lloyd and Willard Adams and a grandson Clay Utterback.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Richard and Gwen Maters of Fremont; daughter and son-in-law Nila and Carlin Utterback of Lincoln; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Nebraska.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
