Funeral services for Vivian L. Pavel, 69, of 4535 N. 17th St., Omaha, were held Friday, Oct. 19, at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha. Burial was at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Pavel died Monday, Oct. 15, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born May 14, 1915 in Wynot to Sylvester and Hattie Wiggins Wagers. She lived in Blair until her marriage to William Pavel, who survives.

Mrs. Pavel was a volunteer at the University Hospital in Omaha with more than 3000 hours of service.

Other survivors include her sister Fern Jacobs of Blair, niece Eileen K. Echtinow of Omaha, nephew Larry Minor of California, nephew Bruce Jacobs, nephew Roger Jacobs and his wife Trudi and their three children Gina, Brian and Jamie, nephew Ronald Wagers, nieces Connie Wagers of Colorado and Peggy Wagers of Florida.

Mrs. Pavel was preceded in death by her brother Lyle three years ago, sister Eleanor Killebrew on Jan. 30, 1983 and her parents.
