FRANK REYNOLDS DIES AT AGE 84

FORMER ARLINGTON RESIDENT IS BURIED IN FORT MORGAN, COLORADO

Frank A. Reynolds, 84, died at his home in Fort Morgan, Colorado, after a long illness, it was learned in Arlington, his former home, this week. Mr. Reynolds lived in Arlington for 31 years, being active in politics.

Born June 1, 1852, in Portsmouth, Ohio, he came to Illinois with his parents when 10 years old. In 1884 the family moved to Arlington, where they remained many years.

Mr. Reynolds and his family lived on one farm, the Pleasant Valley farm, two miles east of Arlington, for 28 years. He was active in politics, serving as supervisor from Arlington township for three terms and also as justice of the peace for over 10 years.

Mr. Reynolds and his wife were one of the longest-married couples in eastern Colorado, having been married nearly 60 years.

Surviving him are his aged wife; three sons, Edgar of Aurora, Colorado; Chase, of Adena, Colorado; and Frank of Fort Morgan; two daughters, Mrs. V.C. Dennis of Fort Morgan; and Mrs. Sisie (sp?) Brown of Anaheim, California; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Reynolds was a member of the Masonic and Eastern Star lodges for many years.

The Rev. Carl Oleson of the First Presbyterian church of Fort Morgan officiated at funeral services and interment was in Riverview cemetery there.
