FORMER ARLINGTON RESIDENT IS DEAD

MRS. JENNIE REYNOLDS, 79, DIED MARCH 13 AT FORT MORGAN, COLORADO

Word has been received of the death March 13 at Fort Morgan, Colorado, of Mrs. Jennie Reynolds, 79, onetime Arlington farm woman. Mrs. Reynolds died a week after suffering a fractured hip.

Born in Illinois April 18, 1859, she was married March 21, 1877 to Frank A. Reynolds. With her husband and three children, the family later moved to the Pleasant Valley farm near Arlington, where they resided nearly 30 years. In 1915, Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds and son, Frank, jr., moved to Fort Morgan, as the other Reynolds children had moved to Colorado five years before.

The year 1936 was a tragic one for Mrs. Reynolds. Her husband died, a daughter, Mrs. Ella Dennis, was killed in an automobile crash, and her oldest son, Edgar, died, all within a space of three months.

Surviving Mrs. Reynolds are two sons, Frank of Fort Morgan and Chase of Adena, Colorado; a daughter, Mrs. Susie Brown of Los Angeles; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
