SUE ALLEN-REYNOLDSON, 57

Sue Allen-Reynoldson, 57, of Maumee, Ohio, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Maumee.

Sue Pierce Allen-Reynoldson was born Sept. 6, 1944, in Blair to S. Pierce and Margaret Allen. She was a graduate of Blair High School, and earned a bachelor of science degree in education and a master’s degree in special education from Bowling Green State University.

Her teaching career consisted of teaching special children. Mrs. Reynoldson taught in the Toledo Public Schools until her illness.

She was active in Brynwyck Garden Club and enjoyed golfing at Brandywine Country Club.

She is survived by her sons, James C. Reynoldson II; Pierce Allen Reynoldson; and her mother, Margaret Allen of Blair; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy and Bob Lammers of Lewellen, Neb.; Claudia and William Chase of Rapid City, S.D.; and Joan and Dick Jahr of Nokomis, Fla.; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and the friends of her sons, to whom she was like a second mother.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorials are suggested to the church, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home in Maumee is in charge of arrangements.
