SERVICES HELD IN TEKAMAH FOR JOHN REYZLIK

Services were held Wednesday, November 15, at the United Methodist Church in Tekamah for John R. Reyzlik, who died November 12 at Blair. Rev. Ralph Ford officiated at the services.

Concluding services with Masonic graveside rites by Landmark Lodge No. 222 of Herman were held at the Tekamah Cemetery.

John Reyzlik was born to Joseph and Anna Barta Reyzlik on the family farm in Burt County near Herman on January 29, 1900. His parents came from Prague, Bohemia, in 1882. He lived all but two years of his life on the same farm and attended Herman Public School.

He married Margaret Louisa Bies in Omaha, Nebraska, January 12, 1921. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 1971. They had two children, Richard Theodore and Doris Audet.

He belonged to the Landmark Lodge No. 222 of Herman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Doris; two sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; his son Richard, and daughter-in-law, Rose; his son-in-law, Leland Case; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Three nephews, one niece and a host of friends also survive him.

Mrs. Stewart Kindler was the organist at the services. Richard Nelsen was the soloist.

Pallbearers were Edgar Short, Garlen Tuma, Raymond Crom, Bill Hart, Robert Weatherly, Sr., and Curtis Petersen.
