MARGARET L. REYZLIK, 89

Services for Margaret L. Reyzlik, 89 who died November 4, 1992 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair were Friday, November 6 at the United Methodist Church in Tekamah. Rev. Charles A. Bailey officiated. Burial was in the Tekamah Cemetery.

Margaret L. Bies was born April 18, 1903 in Salem in McCook County, South Dakota to Theodore E. and Mary Louise Herker Bies. She moved to Tekamah with her parents in 1909 and attended the Tekamah Public School. She also attended the Methodist Church there.

She married John R. Reyzlik January 12, 1921 in Omaha and in 1971 they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She had lived on the same farm for 68 years, beginning May 10, 1924.

She was a 50 year member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge of Tekamah Camp 3637 and was a charter member of the South Sunshine Club, which she helped organize in 1927.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John in 1975; her daughter, Doris Audet (Mrs. Leland) Case in 1976; two brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard Theodore and Rose Reyzlik of Herman; one brother, Leonard Bies of Des Moines, Iowa; two sisters, Frances (Mrs. Earl) Metzler of Blair and Veda (Mrs. Ray) Southwick of Vancouver, Washington; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Casket bearers were Ray Crom, Ron Keithley, Frank Reyzlik, Curt Peteren, Joe Reyzlik and Frank Cooper.

Richard Nelsen was soloist. Gertrude Sells was organist.

Hamel-Peck-Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah was in charge of arrangements.
