BETTY ANN REZEK, 67

Betty Ann Rezek, 67, of Lincoln, an Arlington native, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998.

Services were Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Bethany Christian Church in Lincoln with the Rev. Daryl Lauber officiating. Burial was in Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln.

Pallbearers were Tad, Duane and Tony Rezek, Robert Dau, Gary Novotny and Ben Hartman.

Betty Ann was born in Arlington to Thomas and Helen McMahon. She graduated in 1949 from Arlington High School.

She had worked as a bookkeeper at Tyrrell’s floral for 29 years. She had worked as a meter maid for the Lincoln Police Department for eight years.

She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and a member of Willing Workers Home Extension Club. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America for 40 years.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond R.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jon and Michele, Scott and Sue, all of Lincoln; one daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Scott Versau of Longmont, Colo.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lea and William Murphy of Alamogordo, N.M.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Thomas McMahon III; one sister, Pat Dau and her grandmother, Lena Echtenkamp.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Association of Lincoln, Greater Nebraska Chapter, 5601 S. 27th St., Suite 101.
