Funeral services were held Saturday, February 5, at Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont for Roy Masters, 87, of Fremont who died February 2, 1983, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County’s Annex. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.

Roy Masters was born October 6, 1895, in Arlington where he grew up on the family farm. He attended Arlington schools.

He farmed the family farm for a year. In the early 1930’s, he moved to Sioux City, Iowa, where he traveled for Roberts Dairy. Later he traveled for several oil companies. He had also worked in the implement business and had lived in Wayne and Elkhorn before coming to Fremont in the early 1960’s. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He married the former Cora Marshall on June 12, 1930. She survives.

Several nieces and nephews also survive him.
