Funeral services for 33 year old Linda Marie Matthews were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 16, at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Rev. Kurt Sortland officiated with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Linda Marie Matthews was born on November 26, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa. She died on July 13, 1984 at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

She was married to Charles Matthews, of 903 W. 2nd Street in Perry, Iowa. She was a receptionist at the Marriott Inn.

She is survived by her husband Charles Matthews, of Perry, Iowa; a daughter, Lisa Marie Olsen, of Omaha; step-son, Todd Matthews of Perry, Iowa; step-daughter, Michelle Matthews of Perry, Iowa; and her mother and step-father, Evelyn Lyons and Robert Lyons of Omaha.

Also surviving are brother and sisters, Brenda Andersen of Blair; David Itschner of Omaha and Robbie Lyons of Omaha.

Pallbearers were: Barry Lambert, Dorr Davis, Doug Brown, Bob Brow n, Steve Hurd, and Billie Jo Hurd.
