SERVICES ARE TUESDAY FOR D.A. SCHMIDT

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 16, 1979, at 2 p.m., St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, near Arlington, Nebraska, for Donald A. Schmidt, who died October 13, 1979, at the Dodge County Memorial Hospital, in Fremont, Nebraska.

Donald A. Schmidt was born August 28, 1917 in Arlington. He married Margaret A. Hilgenkamp, February 17, 1943 at St. Paul’s Church near Arlington. Reckmeyer Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements for the services.

Donald A. Schmidt was born August 28, 1917 at Arlington, Nebraska. He was the son of Alfred E. and Edna (Heuerman) Schmidt. He was united in Holy Matrimony with Margaret A. Hilgenkamp, February 17, 1943 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Arlington, Nebraska. A life-time resident of the Arlington area, he was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and served for several years on the Washington County A.S.C.S. Board.

Donald passed away Saturday evening, October 13, 1979 at Memorial hospital of Dodge County in Fremont, Nebraska, at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 15 days. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; his mother, Mrs. Edna Schmidt; one sister, Mrs. Ray (Faye) Wilkening, all of Arlington; and by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred and one daughter, Kathy.
