| Services for Margaret A. Schmidt, 78 of Arlington who died January 28, 1992 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County were Friday, January 31 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, north of Arlington. Rev. Michael L. Rogers officiated. Burial was in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Margaret A. Hilgenkamp Schmidt was born November 1, 1913 in rural Arlington. She lived in the Arlington area her entire life, moving into the village of Arlington in 1986.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a former custodian at St. Paul's School.
She married Donald A. Schmidt February 17, 1943 at St. Paul's Church. He preceded her in death October 13, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ida Scheer Hilgenkamp, a daughter, Katherine Schmidt and two sisters, Dorothy Grefe and Lenora Dunklau.
Survivors include a sister, Olinda A. Kruger of Arlington; a brother-in-law, Edgar Grefe of Arlington and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Pat Dunklau, Tim Dunklau, Phil Dunklau, Brad Grefe, Mark Grefe and Brian Rasmussen.
Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
