Services for Otto Schmidt To Be Tuesday

(1897-Dec. 24, 1970)

Services for Otto H. Schmidt will be held on Tuesday, December 29th. Mr. Otto Schmidt passed away at the Dodge County Hospital in Fremont on Thursday, December 24th. Mr. Schmidt was 73 at the time of death.

The services will be at the Campbell Mortuary starting at 2 p.m. Rev. Richard Atherton will officiate with burial to be in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Schmidt was born in Wayne County, Nebraska in 1897. He married Ruth Renninger. Mr. Schmidt was in the Hardware business for many years.

Mr. Schmidt is survived by his wife Ruth and two children. They are Roy D. Schmidt, of Glenwood, Iowa, and Mrs. John (Betty) White of Birmingham, Alabama.

There are also two surviving sisters. They are Mrs. Mary Hineline of Schuyler and Mrs. Meta Schurman, of Winslow. There are four granddaughters and four great granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be Fred Kuss, Art Kuss, Wm. Moseman, Layton Shabram, Chas. Hasse, Leonard Klattehoff, LeRoy Stork, and Arlan Panning.
