GRANDDAUGHTER OF KENNARD COUPLE KILLED BY CAR

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Peacock, of Kennard, were called to Arkansas April 7th by the death of their granddaughter, Vicki Leah, 7-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Peacock of Heth, Arkansas. Vicki had been struck by a car as she was crossing a highway after alighting from a school bus. A driver, later charged with being drunk, had ignored the flashing lights of the school bus. He struck the girl and drove away without stopping. Vicki was dead on arrival at a local hospital.

She is survived by her parents and by two sisters, plus her maternal grandparents who live at Heth, Arkansas.
