Mr. Peak united with the Methodist church in Ohio in 1854 and on June 4th, 1905 he entered into fellowship with the Christian church in this city. He lived to the ripe old age of 81, long past the allotted period of “three score and ten,” which shows he must have lived well. He was a good citizen, husband, father and friend. He was gentle, kind, tender and true. Little more than this can be truthfully said of any man. The bereaved wife and family have the sympathy of their many friends, of whom the editor was proud to be one.
