Services For Frederick Mathiesen To Be Thursday

Funeral services for 73 year old Frederick Edward Mathiesen will be held on Thursday, January 10th at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair. Frederick was a farmer most of his life and lived at the Blair Apartments. He died January 8, 1980 in the Blair Memorial Community Hospital.

Frederick Edward Mathiesen was born at Blair, Nebraska on June 12, 1906. He had never married.

He is survived by the following brothers, sisters and 21 nieces and nephews. The brothers are: Leonard, Blair; Albert, Bellevue; and Christ, Calgary, Canada. The sisters are: Magdalene Meador, Blair; Ida Petersen, Omaha; and Elna McQuinn, Omaha.

Pallbearers will be: Sam Austin, Kenneth Bender, Hugh Moore, Don Olsen, Ray Schneider and Wm. Wulburn.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Cancer Fund.
