Faye (Austin) Reining, 73, of Midwest City, Okla., died Aug. 10, 2013.

Services were Aug. 17, with interment at Arlington Memorial Cemetery in Oklahoma City.

Faye Austin was born Jan. 31, 1940, in Mount Herman, Okla., to Steven and Martha Austin.

She grew up in southeast Oklahoma and graduated from Chilocco Indian School.

On June 2, 1962, she married Leonard Reining, formerly of Blair, in Broken Bow, Okla.

She was an avid Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma City Thunders fan.

She was a member of Mary Lee Clark Methodist Church where she was an active member of the Women's Club.

She is survived by a son, Darrell; granddaughters, Randi, Rachelle and Marissa; great-granddaughter, Ryleigh; sisters, Loretha Bohanon, Shirley Hill and Wanda Sanders; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Reining of Omaha and Trudy (Lyle) Truhlsen of Blair; brother-in-law, Jerry Reining of Honolulu, Hawaii; and numerous other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; and brothers, Emmett Austin and Paul Anna.
