) Betty Jean Tuma, 82, of Herman, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Tekamah.

Private services for the immediate family will be at a later date.

Betty Jean McWilliams was born February 12, 1931, in Omaha to Tad and Clara (Boyd) McWilliams.

On Oct. 11, 1947, she married Garlen Tuma.

She is survived by her husband, Garlen of Herman; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Nancy Tuma of Blair; two great-grandsons; nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by four sisters; one brother; and grandson, Jason Tuma.
