Quentin C. Peterson, 91, of Blair died Monday, September 9, 2013, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Community in Blair.

At Mr. Peterson’s request, there will be no services.

Quentin C. Peterson was born February 12, 1922, in Oakland, to Emil and Nellie (Sunberg) Peterson.

He grew up in the Oakland area. He farmed in the Fremont, North Bend and Blair areas.

On March 2, 1951, he married June Christoffersen. To this union, two children were born.

He is survived by his wife, June Peterson; daughter, Connie Peterson of Omaha; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Valerie Peterson of Herman; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.
