Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the Church of Christ in Missouri Valley, Iowa for Robert Pearson, 82 of Missouri Valley, who died Jan. 18, 1997 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. Burial will be in the Branson Cemetery.

Robert Pearson was born Sept. 13, 1914 to Nathan J. and Lillian Kathryn Stark Pearson. He attended and graduated from the Maxell, Iowa, High School.

He lived in Omaha from 1956 to 1968, at which time he moved to Missouri Valley where he was employed as a meat cutter for 13 years by the Foodland Grocery Store.

He was a member of the Missouri Valley and Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries and was past president off the Missouri Valley Aerie.

In December, 1946, he married Luella Naab at North Platte, Nebr. She preceded him in death in November, 1989.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Pearson; one son, Johnny Jay Pearson and three brothers, Ross, Eldon and Dale.

He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Suz Anne and Dennis Kasischke, San Diego, Calif.; Barbara and Richard Margritz, Omaha and Kathryn Jackel, Odgen, Iowa; two sons and daughter-in-law, William and Debbie Pearson, Omaha and Jerrol Pearson, Nevada, Iowa; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Howard Junck, Ogden, Iowa and Hazel and Russell Shaver, Brooks-ville, Fla.
