Mrs. J.P. Henry’s mother, Mrs. Louisa Pease, died at 11 o’clock Sunday morning at her home, of congestion of the lungs, having been sick only since Friday night. She would have been 92 had she lived until the 17th of June, and was very vigorous for her years. Rev. G.B. Warren held a brief service at the Henry home at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon and the body was taken to Dunlap, Ia., this morning for burial by the side of her husband, who died 24 years ago. Mrs. Pease was born in Schenectady, New York, but had spent most of her married life in Iowa. Since her husband’s death she had made her home with Mrs. Henry. Three sons also survive her, H.A. Pease, of Mankato, Kans., being the only one able to come to the funeral. Mrs. Henry’s niece, Mrs. E. Ozban, of Rittey, Ia., was also here for the funeral.
