Ingrid M. Matzen, 73

Ingrid M. Matzen, 73, of Blair, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.

Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Ingrid Maren Jensen was born Sept. 1, 1925, at Exira, Iowa, to Rev. P. C. and Kirsten (Schmidt) Jensen.

She attended school in Sidney, Mont., Blair and Kennard. She graduated from Kennard High School.

She attended nursing school in Omaha and received her LPN degree.

She worked for Good Shepherd Home for more than 15 years.

On Dec. 22, 1944, she married Clarence Matzen in Marysville, Kan.

The couple had lived in Blair since 1968.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence of Blair; four children, Larry and wife, Kitty Matzen of Omaha, Cindy and husband, Clyde Rothfuss, Diana Hansen and Susan and husband, Bob Trumbo, all of Blair; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dania Hundtoft and Ellenora (Mrs. Robert) Plugge, both of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steven; one granddaughter, Tracy Bolton; one brother, Ansger Jensen and one sister, Bertha Olsen.

Campbell Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
