Services for George A. Anderson, 58 who died June 27, 1991 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont were Monday, July 1 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Rev. Don Ball officiated. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery.

George A. Anderson was born August 13, 1932 in Arlington. He lived in the Arlington area his entire life.

He was a locomotive engineer for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad for 40 years. He was also a member of the United Trainmen’s Union.

He married Carol Lea Kerwin November 15, 1985 at Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Pauline Lawson Anderson and a sister, Ann Kucera. He is survived by his wife, Carol; a son, PFC Dana A. Anderson, United States Army at Fort Riley, Kansas; a step-son, Kevin Kerwin, Cedar Bluffs; three daughters, Georgia (Mrs. Larry) Barney of Sumner, Washington; Vickie (Mrs. Harlan) Voight and Cindy Williams, both of Kent, Washington; three step-daughters, Diana (Mrs. Rod) Kubr of Wahoo; Becky (Mrs. Randy) Crist of Cedar Bluffs and Cindy (Mrs. Greg) Winchester of Kansas City, Missouri; his father-in-law, Kenneth Kimball of Cedar Bluffs; five grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bill Thomas, Russel Wagner, John Langer, Walter Johnson, Tom Gilmore and Rob Custer. Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
