C. Ivan Maule, 61

Services for C. Ivan Maule, a former Blair resident who died of heart failure at his home in El Monte, California January 18, 1992 were held Friday, January 24 at the Rainbow Chapel in Rose Hills, Wittier with Rev. Paul D. Uhlar officiating. He was buried next to his mother in the Willow Lawn section of Rose Hills.

C. Ivan Maule was born October 11, 1930 in Magnolia, Harrison County, Iowa. He was the son of Clarence and Hazel Clark Maule.

His parents moved to Blair while he was still a youngster and he attended grade school and two years of high school in Blair.

His parents were divorced in 1936. A year later his mother married Floyd H. Little and the family moved to southern California in the late 1940s, settling in El Monte.

He attended El Monte High School and became very active in the school Dramatic Club. Following graduation, he was employed by the El Monte Postal Service but continued his interest in dramatics and formed Talent Showcase with several friends.

They entertained at various civic functions and charitable organizations. He amassed a large collection of Hollywood memorabilia and acquired many friends in the industry.

His mother preceded him in death in 1980. There were no close family survivors but a great many friends, including the television and movie personalities he had met during his lifetime.
