Beverly Jean Acrea, 85

Beverly Jean Acrea, 85, of Omaha, formerly of Missouri Valley, Iowa, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 11802 Pacific St., in Omaha, followed by a luncheon at the church. A private interment will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Missouri Valley. The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. with vigil services at 7 p.m. at the West Center Chapel of Heafey-Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak & Cutler Mortuaries and Crematory, 7805 W. Center Rd., in Omaha.

Beverly Jean Acrea was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Missouri Valley.

She is survived by daughters: Susan Young (Ron) of Omaha and Judy Ramsey (John) of Blair; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Allen of Petaluma, Calif.; and brothers: the Rev. John Acrea of Des Moines, Iowa, Mark Acrea of Leavenworth, Wash., and Harry Acrea (Joyce) of San Diego, Calif.

Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Missouri Valley or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

John Acrea of Des Moines, Iowa, Mark Acrea of Leavenworth, Washington, and Harry Acrea (Joyce) of San Diego, California.

The family will receive friends Friday, 5pm to 7pm with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Saturday, 10am, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, followed by luncheon at the church. Private Interment, Rose Hill Cemetery in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
