Services for Anna Sophia Pedersen, 88, who died June 19, 1985, in the Good Shepherd Home, Blair, were held Saturday, June 22, in the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Kurt Sortland officiated and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Pedersen was born June 14, 1897, in Omaha, the daughter of Jorgen and Maren Hansen. She attended school in Omaha and married Andrew Pedersen on Jan. 29, 1919.

Dr. and Mrs. Pedersen lived in Blair for 50 years, were active in the First Lutheran Church and Mrs. Pedersen was the first president of the Good Shepherd Home Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen McNichols of Blair, and Mrs. Ruth Christensen of Riverside, Calif.; three sons, Dr. Arthur Pedersen of Gaffney, S.C., Dr. Paul Pedersen of Burke, Va., and Dr. Carl Pedersen of Escondido, Calif.; 17 grand-children and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Inga; her parents; two brothers and five sisters.
