Dr. A.M. Pedersen Died At Hospital Saturday, Febr. 3

Dr. A.M. Pedersen a resident of Bair since 1935, died at Memorial Community Hospital last Saturday, February 3rd. He had been in failing health for a number of months.

Her was born at Laaasby, Denmark April 7, 1887 and was 85 years of age at his death.

As a young man he was married to Anna Sophie Hansen who survives his death. After graduating from medical school he practiced medicine for a time and later entered government service. Prior to his retirement he had served a number of years with the Medical Department of the Veterans Administration.

He is survived by three sons and three daughters.

The sons are Paul Pedersen of Rockville, Maryland; Arthur Pedersen of Gaffney, South Carolina and Carl Pedersen of Oakland, California.

The daughters are Mrs. Helen McNichols of Blair, Miss Inga Pedersen of Omaha and Mrs. Ruth Christensen of Riverside, California.

He is also survived by three sisters. They are Mrs. Laura Petersen and Mrs. Metha Niesen, both of St. Paul, Nebraska and Mrs. Myrtle Wagner of Lafayette, California. There are 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran Church, Tuesday, February 6. The Rev. Robert H. Albers conducted the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Don McNichols, Gerald McNichols, Robert Vergamini, Richard Walling, Eric Boe and Kenneth Truhlsen.
