Harold D. Pedersen, 66

Blair native Harold D. Pedersen, 66, of Lakewood, Colo., died July 1, 2002, at his home following a brief illness.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, with a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12, at Ahlberg Mortuary, 326 Terry, Longmont, Colo.

Harold D. Pedersen was born Dec. 9, 1935, in Blair to Theodore and Rosella Pedersen.

He served in the Marine Corps from 1954 to 1958. He worked as an air traffic controller at the Longmont ARTCC for 32 years, and retired in June 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Pedersen of Longmont, children, Charles of Longmont, Belinda of Denver, Colo., Harold Jr. of Thornton, Colo., Teresa of Rhode Island , Celia of Missouri, David of Westminster, Colo., Sienna of Rhode Island, Pamela of New York, Lyla of Fort Collins, Colo., Tanya of Evans, Colo., and Cassandra, Robert and Genna, all of Longmont; a twin brother, Howard, and sister-in-law, Signe, of Tucson, Ariz., and sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Lowell Paine of Lakewood, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Angela.
