Services for June L. Pedersen, 89, of Herman who died July 11, 1993 at her home in Herman will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 15 at the Herman Baptist Church. Rev. Mark M. Richardson will officiate with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

June Louise Pedersen was born February 16, 1904 in Herman to Fred and Lois Ann Fletcher Cushman. She was baptized in the Baptist Church as a young girl. She attended the Spiker and New England Schools.

She married Nels A. Pedersen in Logan, Iowa November 28, 1923. They farmed west of Decatur, Nebraska and later west of Herman. They retired from farming and moved into Herman in 1970.

She was preceded in death by her husband July 29, 1976; her parents, one brother, four sisters and one grandson.

She is survived by four children Lela (Mrs. Don) Plummer of Friend, Nebraska; Ruby (Mrs. Roland) Hovendick of Blair; Fred Pedersen of Herman and Sharon (Mrs. Bryce) Hatton of Herman; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Fred Cushman of Cloverdale, California.
