Finley C. (Finn) Anderson, age 74, of Blair passed away July 3, 1988, after a long bout of cancer at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Services were at the Roeder Mortuary, Wednesday July 6, with the Rev. Fred Felger officiating and Father Evan Ash, Jr. reading tribute from son, Marten.

He was born August 4, 1913, in the village of Millard, to Carl McFinley Anderson and Mary Sachs. He was united in marriage to Ethel L. Ash June 28, 1952, in Omaha. They had one son Marten H.

He worked for Independent Metal Products, later purchased by Fruehauf Trailer Bulk Tank division, for 37 years, living in Omaha.

He, wife Ethel, and son Marten, moved to Washington County, June 1967, farming north of Bennington. In 1983, they moved to the Blair area.

Finn was a member of the I.O.O.F. for years and the Fremont Eagles.

Survivors are wife Ethel, son Marten, and daughter-in-law, Jimmi Ann of Littleton, CO; Sister Luella Smith of Brighton, CO; step-sisters Thelma Obergthall and Dorothy Signorle, and sister-in-law Marie of CA, wife of brother Clayton, who preceded him in death, and many nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials be sent to Clarkson Hospital or Central Park Congregational Church in Omaha.
