Services for Sophie O. Richter, 89 of Blair who died May 30, 1991 at Good Shepherd Home in Blair were Saturday, June 1 at the First Lutheran Church. Rev. Kenneth F. Jensen officiated. Burial was in Blair Cemetery.
Sophie O. Richter was born June 7, 1901 in rural Blair to Christoffer and Louisa Andersen Miller. She grew up in the Blair area and was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran Church of which she was a member.
She married Rolland Richter August 23, 1923 in Blair. They were engaged in farming until retiring and moving to Blair in 1975.
She was preceded in death by her husband on August 15, 1981.
She moved to the Good Shepherd Home in March 1991.
She is survived by three sons, John (Jack) of Omaha; Randall of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and Neil of Blair; and daughter, Donna Mae Beauchamp of Atlantic, Iowa.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
