Pearl E. Andersen (infant)
Born on 3/3/1908, Died 12/16/1908
Little Pearl E. Andersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Andersen, was taken ill last week. Medical attendance was had at once and for a time responded favorably to treatment and good prospects of a speedy recovery, but a change for the worse took place indicating scarlet fever which later terminated in mern croup. Dr. Pruner performed the delicate operation, tracheotomy, which greatly relived the little sufferer, but all in vain, as fever had made too great advance to be overcome by medical skill and humane endurance. Convulsion was the immediate cause that took the dear one from this life to the better life beyond.
Pearl E. Andersen was born March 3,1908, and died December 16, 1908, and was laid to rest in the Kennard cemetery December 17. The services were held at the home.
??? Schafer officiating. The funeral collage was large considering the nature of the disease. The floral offerings were many and beautiful.
