MATILDA RICKER IS BURIED

Funeral services for Matilda C. Ricker, 78, of Blair, who died July 18, 1983, in Memorial Community Hospital of Blair were Wednesday, July 20, at St. Columbkille Church in Papillion, Nebraska.

The Rev. John Michalak, the Rev. Patrick Henry and the Rev. Leo Kreikemeir officiated. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Matilda C. Ricker was born March 23, 1905, in Papillion to Michael and Catherine Schram. She married Floyd Ricker December 26, 1929, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

They lived in Gretna until 1957 when they moved to the Blair-Herman area.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pauline Cherney; one grandson, Kenneth Cherney; three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Michael Ricker of Silver City, Iowa, George Ricker of Omaha, Raymond Ricker, Fairfax, South Dakota, Robert Ricker, Blair; and two daughters, Katherine Iske, Gretna, and Dorothy Hayden, Omaha. Thirty grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alois Schram, Gretna, Lee Schram, Nebraska City, Paul Schram, Omaha; and one sister, Linda Sutter, Nebraska, also survive her.

Kahler-Dolce Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
