MRS. ALBERT ABENDROTH

Ella Henrichsen was born on the farm of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Henrichsen, just west of Ft. Calhoun, on January 16, 1913, and passed away at her home in Benson on November 26.

She graduated from the Ft. Calhoun high school in 1930, and October 3, 1934 was married to Albert Abendroth of Benson, where their married life was spent. She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. John Henrichsen, three sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Moeller of Florence, Mrs. Alvin Ohrt and Miss Marie of Ft. Calhoun, and one brother, Arthur, of Ft. Calhoun.

Mrs. Abendroth was a young lady loved by all who knew her, and her untimely passing is a source of grief to her large circle of friends not only here in the community where she was born and raised, but in her Benson home.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Benson Lutheran church, Rev. Decker being the officiating minister. The four ladies who graduated from the Ft. Calhoun high school with Mrs. Abendroth--Mrs. Mac Allen, Mrs. Fred Prochnow, Mrs. Harry Nelson and Miss Eileen Laudis--were among the attendants at the funeral, and four of the pallbearers, Harry Nelson, Emil Kruse, Mac and John Allen, were from this vicinity. The floral tributes were profuse and beautiful and a large procession of autos carried friends to the Ft. Calhoun cemetery, where interment was made.
