MRS. GEO. RIESSEN BURIED IN CALHOUN

Funeral services were held in the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, January 11, followed by burial in the Calhoun cemetery, for Mrs. George Riessen.

Mrs. Riessen had passed away the preceding Thursday, following a long illness. As Adele Pfeiffer she was born in Germany on January 5, 1877, coming to America as a child. She resided first in the Wranch community and later in Fort Calhoun. Survivors include the husband, to whom she was married on February 25, 1914; a son, George; a daughter, Mildred; and a brother, Edward Pfeiffer of Blair.

Pallbearers were Louis Lund, Detlef Kruse, Claus Mehrens, Bruce Cox, Henry A. Kruse, and Fred H. Frahm, all of Fort Calhoun. Rev. Thomas Sandlin was in charge of the services.
