Bennington Farmer, 56, To Be Buried Friday After St. John’s Rites

Dave Kroeger, 56, died Tuesday at his home near Bennington, south of the German Hall. He had been ill the past three years.

Surviving Mr. Kroeger are his wife, Edith; one son, Melvin Kroeger; his mother, Mrs. Margaretha Kroeger of Bennington; four brothers, William of Bennington, Herman of Omaha, Henry of Kennard and Ernest of Irvington; and two sisters, Mrs. Rudy Mueller of Bennington and Mrs. Joe Schacker of Omaha. Mrs. Maude Jahnel of Blair is his mother-in-law.

The Sievers Funeral Home of Fort Calhoun announces that the funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington. Interment will follow in the German Cemetery.
